Lie to Me App Reviews

Love the TV show, expected to love this app. Problem is that there is no right or wrong explanation. That means no learning curve, no training, no improvement. Would LOVE the app if I felt I was learning something - as opposed to just playing a repetitive guessing game. Causes me to lose interest very, very fast. If it improves, I can upgrade my rating. 

Realy funny game!

The expressions are too slow, the facial movements should be quicker to be closer to the show, and the choices for the expression are really weak. I mean, really, "crazy" is the people sticking their tongue out, theres no "surprised" answer even though thats what it looks they do half the time, and instead of just putting "happy" they felt the need to put "joyful." It seems silly, but I see that expression, think "happy" and its not there, it takes a second to remember to use "joyful" instead. As I type this I know I sound like a moron, but in a game that times you, it makes a difference. And finally, the layout is silly. We all know you guys copied this from "Lie to Me," its the TITLE of the app. If youre going to do that, why couldnt you have taken a cooler, sleeker layout that has more of a feel from the show? This app could be neat if someone put a little more time into it, and maybe if it was actually sponsored by the show. As it is, buy a episode of the show instead.

This app could be better, but it could also be worse. Personally, this app is better than nothing, but the pictures of the people showing the emotions are much slower than an emotion would be shown in real life. I also believe that some of the pictures could be used for more than one of the emotions available. Not a TOTAL waste of $1, but would rather spend it on a song or another app.

It doesnt tell you the right answer or tell you why it if that you can tell why theyre feeling that way.

Film is wonderful, interesting and intriguing. App is only a faint copy of it.

Original idea! However, the game can be improved, at least you should add some theory on micro expressions, and so on. Also, please, make menu button to be active during all the game play, not only after answer! Anyway, it worst 5 stars. Thank you!

Great game to keep you occupied when your bored

I liked the idea, good graphics.

I got this app to see if I could use it a a quick guide to micro expressions and practice run. The emotions they show arent all tht accurate.. If even at all. Joy sadness anger, and flirty seemed to b rite, but amused is actually surprise mislabeled, and scared is more of a startle reaction. Thinking was closer to being rite too, but bored was way off.. Except for one sign where he puffs his cheeks. Dont get this app if u want to b trained in micro expressions.. Theres another app in the app store thts actually based on the seven universal emotions. Its called Face Reader. Get this only if u want a game.

Its associated with the tv show so the app should be appreciated by all its fans. Im fan, I like it))

Ive been playing almost the whole day and then I tried to guess the emotions of real people I met. Its funnyyy!!

Had no problems until I upgraded now I keep getting closed out in the middle of a game....whats the deal?

I like the idea but the models stink and make this game really easy- please fix this

I thought this app was going to be good. But instead it olny has arcade and campain mode. It doesnt explain what the faces will look like. And it doesnt happen in real time.

it was a great idea to make the app like this. I would like the models to be improved but nevertheless its good.

I used to think I am a great judge of mens character, thats why I decided to try this app. I tried and saw I have to improve my skills. The app helped me to understand this.

Its awesome program! I like the apps like this, where Im supposed to think, to puzzle. Im not stressful games fan, so this app is very good for me.

I love the TV show, so I had to grab the app when I saw it. Currently, it shows you a person that makes a facial expression and you decide between certain emotions, but it never tells you what you should be looking for. The only thing that is missing is an instructional part that explains why a facial expression is considered joyful instead of just amused or why someone is crazy and not just angry.
